Berlin's CERPRO Raises €2M for Quality AI Software

CERPRO, a Berlin-based SaaS startup, has secured nearly €2 million in pre-seed funding to revolutionize quality assurance in manufacturing. The round was led by seed + speed Ventures, with D11Z. Ventures as co-lead, alongside EIT Manufacturing and Techstars.
According to information from D11Z. Ventures' press release, the company addresses a critical pain point in manufacturing: quality assurance backlogs that can stretch for months. Many companies still rely on paper and Excel spreadsheets to create and verify documentation manually. The problem runs deeper than inefficiency. Up to 30% of manufacturing issues don't stem from production itself, but from inadequately prepared technical drawings.
CERPRO's solution, QualiSpec, uses artificial intelligence to automatically recognize, interpret and structure features from technical drawings. This enables manufacturers to create digital inspection plans in a fraction of the time previously required. Since launching in December 2024, over 100 mid-sized companies across aerospace, medical technology and mechanical engineering have adopted the software. These customers report quality processes accelerated by more than 80%, with significantly lower error rates. Implementation takes just a few days.
The fresh capital will fund product development, sales expansion and growth into additional European markets. Looking ahead, CERPRO plans to extend its AI technology toward design and construction phases, enabling optimization earlier in the development process. The platform will eventually provide proactive recommendations for design and manufacturing best practices.
