service.health Raises Capital for Digital Healthcare

Berlin-based service.health has closed a seven-figure growth investment to expand its role as a technology partner for Germany's digital healthcare infrastructure. According to the company's press release, the funding comes from IBB Capital GmbH and Fadelia GmbH.
The profitable technology company specializes in digital connectivity solutions for the healthcare sector. Founded five years ago by Manuel Blechschmidt and David Matthaei, service.health has established itself as a pioneer in Germany's digital health infrastructure. In 2021, the company issued one of the country's first electronic prescriptions through its open-source solution ere.health.
One of service.health's key innovations is CardLink, an NFC-based solution that simplifies the redemption of electronic prescriptions and sets new standards for interoperability. The Berlin team connects healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and telematics infrastructure systems through reliable technology combined with strategic consulting expertise.

The fresh capital will be used to scale existing applications and develop new services. Today, numerous leading healthcare organizations rely on service.health's solutions to expand digital processes securely and efficiently. Notable projects include support for the TI Messenger, which enables secure communication in healthcare, and the continued development of CardLink.
Stefan Sonnenberg, Managing Director of IBB Capital GmbH, highlights that service.health combines technological competence with deep understanding of the reality in medical practices, clinics, and pharmacies. Professor Roland Fassauer from Fadelia GmbH emphasizes the company's focus on software infrastructure with sustainable impact and scalability.
